The offline payment methods of Check or Money Order are the only payment methods activated for the demo.
This way you don't have to enter any test credit or debit card data, making it easier for you to demo the software.
The Customer Groups Manager extension expands the standard customer group functions with new
capabilities. It allows you to assign different currencies, stores, payment and shipping methods,
products and product categories to different customer groups, as well as setting minimum order amounts per group.

In the admin panel navigate to: System -> Configuration -> Customers -> Customer Groups
The next sections are available in the configuration: Options, Catalog, Currency, Store, Payment, Shipping.
Here you can enable / disable the module functions globally. This option has a higher priority in
Minimum Order Amount
The minimum order amount for all customer groups.
Note: Minimum order amount should be enabled in the system in order to get this function into effect:
System -> Configuration -> Sales -> Sales -> Minimum Order Amount
Manage Customer Groups
In previous articles we have considered: Main Options and Single Mode Options for the
Multi-Warehouse Magento module. This article deals with the Multiple Mode Options.
In administrator panel: Customers -> Customer Groups
Here you can create new customer groups by pressing the Add New Customer Group button or by editing
existing ones with the Edit link.
The only tab that is available for the create new customer group process is General.
Here you fill in customer group general details
Customer group display name.
Customer group tax class.
The currency that is being selected automatically for a customer assigned to the customer group.
Default Currency must be selected in Currencies.
The store which a customer is being redirected to initially. The value must be selected in Stores.
Default Payment Method
The payment method that is selected by default for the checkout process. The value must be selected in the
Default Shipping Method
The shipping method that is selected by default for the checkout and estimate shipping functions. The value
must be selected in the Shipping Methods.
Minimum Order Amount
The minimum order amount for the customer group. Tick Use Config Minimum Order Amount checkbox if the value
should be similar to that which is set in the configuration globally or if it should be entered manually.
Default Redirect URL
The default redirection URL in case a store isn’t allowed for a customer. Check Use Config Default Redirect
URL to inherit the value that is set in the configuration globally.
Allowed currencies list for the customer group. The store base currency is available independently of this attribute.
The currency must be enabled in the configuration initially: System -> General -> Currency Setup ->
Currency Options -> Allowed Currencies.
Allowed stores list for the customer group
Allowed payment methods list for the customer group. The payment method must be previously enabled in the
Payment Methods configuration settings section: System -> Configuration -> Sales -> Payment Methods.
Allowed shipping methods list for the customer group. The shipping carrier must be previously enabled in the
Shipping Methods configuration settings section: System -> Configuration -> Sales -> Shipping Methods.
Administrator is able to overwrite available product categorey list depending on the customer group here.
Note, product category availability doesn’t affect the product's availability itself.
The list of products enabled for the customer group. The customer group can be enabled for the specific product in the products manager.
The function allows you to enable / disable a product for the specific customer groups.
